Sinopse
We have brought the title of this show from the disenchantment of Hamlet, but the romantic corpusfrom which the text is raised derives from the period from the British post-war to the contemporary era. The textual corpus chosen depicts a type of hero generally known as a “rogue”, referring to somebody belonging to a class ofrascals, normally considered dishonest and without principles. –Teatro Experimental do Porto
Teatro Experimental do Porto (TEP) is the oldest theatre company in operation in Portugal, having presented its first performance in 1953. Under the artistic direction of António Pedro (1953-1961), TEP was a pioneer of modern theatre in Portugal. Between 1998 and the end of 2009, the company was directed by Norberto Barroca, after which Júlio Gago took over. In 2012, Gonçalo Amorim, resident stage director since 2010, became its artistic director.
