Sinopse

The exhibition Eish! K’a medo! is the result of a multidisciplinary workshop on the construction and manipulation of animated forms for children, which took place in the PALOP countries between 2023 and 2025. Having visited Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé and Príncipe, the results of these journeys and encounters are now on display, accompanied by guided tours for visitors of all ages. Starting from a reflection on the human condition, the workshop explored fear as a primal and universal emotion. Through drawing, art and performance, the children were invited to imagine, express and transform their fears into animated forms. The result is a collection of works that bears witness to their creativity and courage. —  Sofia Silva & Ricardo Neto
