Sinopse
The circus is a place of fantasy, where the devil is left at the door. Um Mundo Mágico do Tudo Bem [The Magical World of Everything’s Fine], where we can leave our troubles in a mental zone of suspension. A circus troupe, tired of its mission, decides to lock the doors during a performance and take the audience hostage. Tired of wearing masks, of escaping reality and what upsets them, these artists decide it is time to face reality: Humanity has failed. The magical world of everything’s fine is no longer enough to cover all the skeletons we’ve piled under the bed, where we’re still able to sleep for a few minutes, harassed by the lack of air and space. — António Afonso Parra / A Turma
