Sinopse
“Ask someone to jump and you shall see their true face”, once said the American photographer Philippe Halsman. What is then, the true face of dance in these days of uncertainty? What wouldn’t we like to show and what would we like to see? “The Dog Days Are Over” premieres in Portugal and shows eight dancers in a continuous physical act: jumping. A repetitive exhaustion revealing that dancers can’t be more than artists; but at the service of what, exactly?
