There is a house. It is not merely a place... it is a body, a memory, a substance made of shadow. Inside it, a man tries to see. He closes his eyes. And that is when something begins: a very faint, almost imperceptible light, appearing and disappearing in a flickering dance. A presence. Perhaps a woman. Perhaps nothing more than the form of a desire. Mulher Luz  is born in that space between what is seen and what is imagined, between the gesture and its failure. Based on a free adaptation of the works of José Luís Peixoto, the play unfolds as a sensory journey where words fragment and the body becomes language. Puppets, video and physicality conjure an unsettled space, where figures emerge and dissolve, as if they never truly come into existence. The house transforms. The darkness thickens. The world creeps in, at times violent, at times absurd, and pierces the bodies... leaving marks, absences, voids. At the centre, the persistent attempt to touch what eludes us.
