Sinopse

Resistance. Courage. Overcoming. In ͞Ensaio para uma cartografia͟ [Rehearsal for a cartography], we watch an individual and collective, artistic and personal path being build. This performance is the result of a journey started by Mónica Calle in2014, based on "Die sieben Todsünden͟[The Seven Deadly Sins], by Bertolt Brecht, and ͞A boa alma͟ [The Good Soul], by Luís Mário Lopes. It was an attempt to chart an alternative cartography—first in Lisbon, and then in several Portuguese regions. Twelve actresses dance based on orchestra rehearsals of great conductors and on classic ballet movements. Each performance is a rehearsal, a chance to overcome oneself, a new stage in the establishment of a path, a mark on the cartography one aims to build.
