Sinopse
The starting point of those performances is the encounter between their artworks and his own work, and they are shaped based on that common ground. French essayist, philosopher/theoretician and novelist Georges Bataille is both at the centre and the startingpointof the performer’s last instalment ofthe series “The Importance of Being”, in order to develop and unfold body, performance and writing in a direct link to his radical political philosophies.
Miguel Bonneville (Porto, 1985) introduces us to autobiographical stories focusing on the deconstruction and reconstruction of identity through performances, drawings, photographs, video, music and artists’books. He has been presenting his work in art galleries and festivals both at home and abroadsince 2003, especially the series “Family Project”, “Miguel Bonneville” and“The Importance of Being”.
