José Álvaro Morais filmed Vieira and Arpad at their home and studio in Yèvre-le-Châtel, capturing the magic between them, the way they respected one another, and how they did or did not interfere in each other’s work, in a film that unfolds like a painting being created. Also featuring, amongst others, Cesariny, Sophia and Agustina. Now, in an extraordinary restoration carried out by the Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema, which allows us to see the colours and forms of Vieira and Arpad’s painting with great clarity. — Medeia Filmes
