Sinopse

Returning from the Korean War, Vincent (Warren Beatty) seeks work at a luxury psychiatric clinic in Maryland. There, he meets a seductive young woman suffering from schizophrenia, Lilith (Jean Seberg). As he delves into her private world, Vincent becomes fascinated by Lilith. Robert Rossen's last film (the director would die prematurely two years later), it is one of his masterpieces. Pedro Mexia wrote [Cinemateca, ed. Tinta da China]: "Had I lived longer, who knows what I might have done. Because Lilith is one of the most adult moments in American cinema, a study of the love drive as an essentially disordered phenomenon [...]."
