FRANCISCO BERÉNY

Francisco Berény was born in 1995. At the age of 11 he started attending the Silva Monteiro Music Course, where he worked with a number of teachers. He played in several recitals in Portugal, Spain and France. He plays in a duo with pianist Álvaro Teixeira Lopes. He has taken several master classes with renowned guitar players. He participated in competitions at home and abroad, having won a few awards. He’s currently a first-year master student in music teaching at the University of Aveiro under professor Pedro Rodrigues.
