Shared rehearsal with Teatro Experimental do Porto (TEP) & Teatro La María and Companhia Teatral de Ramalde

Shared rehearsal is another opportunity for Teatro Experimental do Porto and Teatro La María to further deepen their relationship, which in the last four years, in addition to the two shows, already staged together, and international circulation, unusual for transatlantic co-productions , has had several parallel and mediation activities, such as workshops and conversations. This time we propose to share our rehearsal room with an amateur theater group from Porto. How will this new delegation be received? What will you have to show us? Will we be able to surprise them with what we are going to prepare? One thing is certain, eating and drinking, around a table, to top it off, there will be! — Teatro Experimental do Porto & Teatro La María

Two entourages. Two artistic collectives meet: one professional, the other amateur. One face to face, not guerrilla warfare, but sharing. With these “shared rehearsals” we achieve the rapprochement between two poles that share artistic language and love for Theater, producing multiple perspectives on two performative objects. For us, amateurs, Teatro Experimental do Porto and Teatro La Maria's perspective on our work presents itself, without a doubt, as a space for individual and collective enrichment and growth, but also for affirmation.
