Sinopse
This is the starting point leading a 5 year old girl on a surprising journey up and down steep slopes to the heart of the mountains in search of the lost head. There, where only a magic word can help her to find the meaning in everything that is happening. After “Barriga da Baleia” (which toured the whole country), the visual artist António Jorge Gonçalves and the actress Ana Brandão once again present a classic story, recalling traditional tales that inspires us to overcome difficulties through persistence and friendship.
António Jorge Gonçalves studied Graphic Design at the Fine Arts School in Lisbon (1989) and has an MA in Theatre Design from the Slade School of Fine Art in London (1999), where he had a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation grant. He has taught at IADE and RESTART. His work covers drawing, photography, music and public art. Telling stories through images is his favourite field: since 1978 he has published strip cartoons in newspapers, magazines and fanzines in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.
