SoundPreta

SoundPreta’s sound research started in 2016, in Brazil, the place from where her musical inspiration comes. The project has since crossed many borders until it reached the dance floors, stages, parties and performances of cities such as Porto, Lisbon, Ponta Delgada and Berlin. It is currently focused on trap, grime and drill beats, but also on Brazilian funk and electronic sounds, such as Miami bass and footwork. As a producer, SoundPreta is in charge of QUENGA, an urban event that celebrates and privileges the Quyr and BIPOC bodies, and is also in charge of Making Love, a R&B, neo soul, lo-fi trap and others party, where new and old sounds make love. SoundPreta is also a reaction to the underrepresentation of Black DJs and producers in the Portuguese scene. – SoundPreta
