Sinopse
ELEGIA [Elegy] is a choreographic project that draws inspiration from the literary genre of the same name to explore the autobiographical body and its intersections with the restlessness of today’s world. With a poetic and perhaps melancholic approach, the choreography translates into movement the emotional complexity arising from issues such as war, social crisis and climate change. How can intimacy be transformed into extimacy? Or the other way round? This performance urges deep reflection on the human condition and the impact of contemporary realities on individuality, revealing how the personal and the universal intertwine in a common mourning. Elegia is therefore a mourning, a project that acts as a mirror of the human condition and a catalyst for change and introspection. — Elisabete Magalhães
