Warm-up with Sara Santervás

Sara Santervás is an Andalusian artist and former biomolecular scientist, currently based in Porto. She began her dance studies in Spanish dance. As a contemporary dance performer, she has worked with Horácio Macuacua, Hélder Seabra, Elisabeth Lambeck, Joan Jonas, Tommy Luther, Davis Freeman, Sara Bernardo and Mafalda Deville. In her choreographic work, she explores transmutation and urgent poetry based on voice and physicality. Highlights include Ruinas, O Que Sobe Pode Nunca Descer, Krakatoa, 703 Sonhos, Entre la Pluma y la Pared, in collaboration with Mercedes Quijada, and A Matriz, in collaboration with Lea Siebrecht.
