Paulo Amaral

Paulo Fernando dos Santos Amaral holds a music degree from the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo, taught by Professor Constantin Sandu. He is currently in his first year of a Master's degree in Artistic Interpretation, taught by Professor Pedro Burmester, also at ESMAE. He began his studies at the Conservatório Regional de Gaia, taught by Professor Susana Cerqueira and later by Professor Rui Pintão. He has won several notable competition awards: 3rd Prize in the Pequenos Galinhos Competition in Barcelos in 2015, 2nd Prize in the National City of Gaia Competition in 2023, and, in 2025, Honorable Mention in the Passos Premium Competition and 2nd Prize in the Alto Minho International Piano Competition.
