João Neto Vieira

João Neto Vieira (2006) began his musical studies with Bruno Trocado at the EMPV, completing the course with a 20-point average. He has won awards in competitions such as Póvoa de Varzim, where he also received the "Best Interpretation of a Portuguese Piece" award, Margarida Magalhães de Sousa, Oeiras, Serra da Estrela, Alto Minho, and received an honorable mention in the PJM soloist competition (2025). He has performed with the Orquestra do Norte and the Orquestra do Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada, under the direction of conductors Fernando Marinho and Jan Wierzba, respectively. He has worked with renowned pianists and played in venues such as Casa da Música and Teatro Micaelense. He is currently studying at ESMAE with Pedro Burmester.
