Sinopse

Three friends, humanists and connected to the arts, gather for a few drinks at one of their homes. At a given moment, the host takes the rubbish out to the dustbin and returns with an unknown person who was sleeping in the street. To their general astonishment, the new arrival states that he is a bird and suggests that everyone should imagine the feathers covering his body. Initially receptive, the friends start to feel abused by the bird’s strange presence. And from that point onwards the night takes an ever more violent twist.

Trinidad González trained as an actress in the 1990s in Chile, the US and Italy. She is one of the founders of the Teatro en el Blanco company through which she has staged her work in around 30 countries since 2007. “Pájaro” is the third play she has written, after “La Reunión”and“Elías”. Her performance in “Neva” earned her an Altazor award for best actress in 2007. She has appeared in TV series in Chile and other Latin American countries, and she is also a teacher of acting at various schools and universities.
