Bruno Senune

The search of ways to metamorphose the body , the perception of itself and what characterizes it as a metaphor for other possibilities of understanding the body while an imagetic motor of identity. The exposure of fragility and of a survival narrative, the sadness that is celebrated, the change that is needed to keep on going through life, the constant limbo between balance and fall, the relief through the anxiety of impossibility.  


Bruno Senune was born in Aveiro in 1992. He currently lives in Porto. He accomplishes the course of contemporary dance performer at Balleteatro Escola Profissional in 2011. He collaborated frequently as a performer with Tânia Carvalho, Né Barros, Flávio Rodrigues, Joana von Mayer Trindade and Hugo Calhim Cristovão. As an author he creates ‘Lonely’ (2015) in collaboration with Flávio Rodrigues, ‘Malheureux que je Suis’ (video installation, 2016) and the solos ‘Kid As King’ (2016), ‘A Deriva dos Olhos’ (2017), ‘prenúncio de uma profunda melancolia’ (2019).
